This type of transfer was not working for a while. IT IS WORKING PROPERLY NOW.

This is a screen shot tutorial for transferring service from an
Active GSM Tracfone to an Active CDMA Tracfone
using the activation process on the Tracfone web site

If you want to transfer to a new, Inactive CDMA Tracfone, use This Tutorial

In this tutorial you will retain the current phone number on the CDMA phone and just transfer the minutes and days from the GSM phone to the CDMA phone.

This is the process you want to use when moving the service from a GSM phone to the CDMA phone that you currently use. You can buy a $10 GSM phone and activate it and then move the minutes and service from it to your CDMA phone that you already use. You can do this multiple times. If you want to use my phones instead of buying phones, I charge $8 for each active phone to transfer. Contact me.

Compare this to Tracfone's Value Plans where you get 50 minutes and 30 days for $10, or no minutes and 30 days for $6. This is an excellent option for users that do not use many minutes and need service days instead of minutes.

If you use a GSM phone, and want to transfer just the minutes and days from another GSM phone to it, you cannot use this tutorial. You will have to call Tracfone.

The GSM phone has to be currently active without having passed it's service end date. If you have no minutes (or no days) on the phone, then only the days of service (or only minutes) will transfer. You will not transfer the current day of service from the GSM phone. If you have 60 days of service on the phone you will only transfer 59 days because today is already used. You will not transfer the phone number from the GSM phone to the CDMA phone. There is a separate tutorial for that process.

You need to have an account to transfer from an existing phone. Set up an account and put both active phones in the account.

This tutorial is only basic. I do not go in depth with each page. If you have problems you can contact me at the link at the end of the tutorial.

As with all my tutorials, please read through the full tutorial prior to starting the process so you will be familiar with the steps and understand what your end result will be. Nothing is permanent if you mess up or get some type of error. You can always call Tracfone and tell them you were in the process of an online transfer or activation and the process did not complete. They will get the phone information from you and complete the transaction. Don't hesitate to contact me with any problems, I can, and will, always help.
